German edition AutoBild has published the first image of new generation Passat. And, as assure edition of the newspaper, before us the photo of serial model, which official presentation will take place in october this year on a motor show in Paris. Representatives of German concern refuse to make comments, that image of a photo new generation Passat had appeared in hands of journalists AutoBild – apparently, it is a question of elementary information leakage.

New Volkswagen Passat becomes slightly larger than the present car, but thus the weight of the car should even decrease it becomes possible using modern materials in a model design. As to design wait for revolutionary changes is not necessary. Outwardly the car will resemble in many respects on updated Phaeton which has been recently presented on a motor show in Beijing.

What will enter into a base complete set of model, yet is not informed. But it is possible not to doubt that equipment Passat will appear very good – in this plan Passat should come nearer closely to senior Phaeton.

Under cowl Volkswagen Passat, apparently, will put only turbo engines, and the most modest will appear the petrol motor in volume only 1,2 l which gives out 105 h.p. Also there will be a 1,4-litre unit with forced aspiration and engines in volume of 2,0 l. Well and the most powerful unit there will be V6 in volume 3,0 l, capacity of an order 300 h.p.

BMW M3 GTS (VIDEO)

BMW has officially presented model under name BMW M3 GTS. At once it is necessary to tell it is not one more simple version BMW M3. She is the queen of all M3, top of its development.
As it is possible to understand from the name, BMW M3 GTS is constructed on the basis of standard BMW M3. But if under cowl M3 there is a motor in volume of 4,0 l (420 h.p. and 400 Nm) the new Bavarian coupe can already brag of 450 h.p. whom the engine in volume already gives out 4,4 l. The twisting moment has grown also – now it is equal 440 Nm. Besides, M3 GTS has also lower weight thanks to what a parity the weight-capacity here makes only 3,4 kg on 1 h.p.

In general M3 GTS rather seriously differs from usual M3. And business not only in the engine. New super car has received the modernised 7-step gear box with two clutches which is intended for operation on racing lines. The rigid attachment bearing part of a rear suspension, and also the absorbers having separate travel adjustment of compression and a course of a release became distinctive feature BMW M3 GTS more. Besides other, the corner of a camber front and rear wheels and height of lifting of the car are regulated depending on conditions of races. The front part of the car falls on 16 mm, and rear – on 12 mm.

The highly effective braking system presented in BMW M3 GTS, has fixed a caliper with six buckets on each of front wheels and four – on rear. Diameter of front brake plates on 18 mm, and rear – on 30 mm more than in BMW M3. Also the brake hoses reinforced by a steel wire are used.



As you have already understood, BMW M3 GTS is created first of all for drive on racing lines. For this reason the car has received a racing modesty panel and rear aerodynamic elements which can be adjusted depending on character of a line or according to technical regulations of race. For this purpose it is possible to vary geometry of elements of a modesty panel and to change rear wing position. Rear wing BMW M3 GTS is arranged by the same principle that on BMW 320si, acting in championship WTCC.



Car is painted in orange colour of a body. Also it is necessary to notice that rear mufflers here are made of the titan, the central extension housing and door panels are made of easy materials, rear side windows from poly-carbonate glasses, in the car there are no rear seats, the climate control and an audiosystem. As a result weight BMW M3 GTS without loading under standard DIN makes 1530 kg, including a roll bar and gear box M Dual Clutch Drivelogic (at BMW M3 — 1600 kg).

Dynamic characteristics BMW M3 GTS are good. Dispersal to 100 km/h for 4,4 sec, from a place the car overcomes 1000 metres for 22,5 sec, the maximum speed of the car – 305 km/h.

Maybach 57S Coupe

This year on roads will appear a coupe constructed on base Maybach. To assemble this model plans German company Xenatec Group. In company Xenatec Group says that they wish to construct about such 100 cars which will be called simply – Maybach 57S Coupe.

From the technical point of view a coupe practically will not differ from a sedan. This car will receive the same 6,0-litre motor with a turbo-supercharging which gives out 612 h.p. and 1000 Nm. The suspender will undergo to minor alterations, however, it is not necessary to wait for cardinal modernisation. The main thrust block, certainly, will make on new appearance of the car. The coupe will differ from a sedan not only absence of rear doors.

At a rough guess, the coupe on the basis of Maybach will cost about 650 000 euros. It is a factory price which does not consider taxes, cost of delivery and the dealer margin. According to heads Xenatec Group, the Near East, China, USA and Russia will be the main commodity markets of a new coupe.

Wald Mercedes E Black Bison

If for Europe pumped over Mercedes, BMW or Audi for a long time already are something self-evident in Japan all without an exception the European premium-brands are the real exotic. Bugatti will receive 1200 h.p.

Apparently, engineers of company Bugatti have started creation of the new version of the super car Veyron. And, the new model will possess the engine capacity not 1001 h.p., as now, but 1200 h.p. It was mentioned in the lecture at the Viennese technical university by Ferdinand Pih, the former chairman Volkswagen, and nowadays the head of the supervisory board of concern (speak, Pih became the initiator of creation the most expensive car in world Bugatti Veyron).

However it is not known yet, which car will receive the 1200-strong power unit. Versions here only two. Or the new engine will put under a cowl of present generation Veyron, or now there is a creation of essentially new coupe which becomes more, more powerfully and, certainly, is more expensive than present model.

The second variant seems to be more truthful. After all in Bugatti for a long time already said that all will be assembled only 300 Veyron, and all of them are already sold. Therefore it is necessary for engineers Bugatti to create new model which will help to be fixed the companies at top of world car industry.

Management Bugatti is ready to give «green light» to a new super sedan which will appear in the market in three years. This car will receive name Bugatti 16C Galibier. It is supposed that Bugatti will construct only 300 similar super sedans, each of which will cost about 1,5 million euros. The car will be equipped 800 h.p. eight-litre W-shaped 16-cylinder engine from Veyron.

Russian will make from Porsche a new coupe

The Russian studio R.A.D. (Russian Automobile Design) has shown the first drawings of the new unique car which will be constructed on base Porsche Cayenne, transfers a portal Cardesign.ru.

The new car will be constructed in style of jotas-sorts Mercury by which use Sylvester Stallone in a film "Cobra". As always in such cases, the car will receive a unique body, however, all "mechanics" will be borrowed from Porsche Cayenne. From last car the engine will get also.

It is necessary to notice that the company R.A.D. in cooperation with studio CARDI already built unusual coupes on the basis of Porsche Сayenne. So, in April, 2007 has been created car Volga-Cayenne . This car has a body very similar to "Volga". And the interior here only reminds the well-known Soviet car. And in the technical plan is Porsche Cayenne. On hearings, such car was sold to famous russian businessman for $1 million!

Mercedes prepares small super car!

The Mercedes-Benz will exhaust second super car under mark AMG, transfers magazine AutoBild. Now Germans already exhaust model SLS AMG, this car is equipped with 6,3-litre "eight" which gives out 571 h.p. and 650 Nm.

The new model should appear much more cheaply SLS AMG, price will be about $ 170 000. The Russian company Marussia which heads Nikolay Fomenko, has presented the first off-road car. This seven-seater called Marussia F2.

About technical features of a new off-road car in management Marussia while prefer not to speak. BMW Concept Gran Coupe

On a motor show in Beijing company BMW has presented concept under name Concept Gran Coupe. The main feature of a new 4-door coupe from BMW is not only rather aggressive appearance, but also small height - concept at once on 100 mm below standard "seven".

It is necessary to notice that it's already second concept four-door coupe from BMW – earlier Germans showed the model under name Concept CS. It has been presented in 2007, too in China. And here after three years Bavarians have made the new version of a 4-door coupe. So it possible to wait and the serial version of similar model. It will be called, most likely, BMW 8th series. The main competitors of new "eight" already well-known. This existing Mercedes-Benz CLS, Porsche Panamera and Aston Martin Rapide, and also preparing for premiere Audi A7.
