Nissan Sunny

Nissan Sunny
Nissan Sunny
Nissan SunnyTaking center stage and making its world debut at the 8th China (Guangzhou) International Automobile Exhibition, is Nissan's all-new global small sedan, which will be locally marketed as the Sunny. According to the Japanese automaker, the new small sedan will go on sale first in China in January 2011 and then progressively across 170 countries worldwide under different vehicle brand names.

Even though Nissan's Spartan press release did not mention the Versa, there are one too many styling similarities between the new Sunny and the 2012 Versa sedan teased in an official sketch released by the automaker in October 2010. However, we have to stress the fact that Nissan has not made a connection between the two cars.

The Sunny, or as Nissan likes to call it, the firm's new global sedan, is believed to be based on the underpinnings of the Micra supermini, something that could explain the striking resemblance of the dashboard design.

Among the few details released about the car is that in China, it will be offered with Nissan's 1.5-liter HR15DE four-cylinder engine linked to Xtronic CVT, and that engineers have fitted the Sunny with MacPherson struts up front and a torsion beam for the rear suspension.

Nissan Frontier Navara 4x4

Nissan Frontier Navara 4x4Nissan Navara is a worldwide phenomenon and Nissan's decision to begin making Nissan Navara in Thailand has send waves of joy in our customer base. And why not - Europe's best selling pickup with Ricke performance, styling and interior can now be acquired at a much lower price thanks to Mark Motors' rock-bottom prices.

It has been the top seller in Europe for sometime now but now South Africa leading pickup magazine "Bakkie & Truck Action magazine" has declared Nissan Navara 2.5 DCI 4x4 as the Best Bakkie for 2007. European magazines are not far behind in extolling Navara - the Nissan Navara has been voted the ‘Pick-Up of the Year’ for the second year running in 4x4 magazine's 2007 awards. Rick Carroll, 4x4’s editor, commented. The Navara is simply the best. The reasons are simple: Nissan’s Navara provides the best combination of working truck practicality with everyday driving involvement. A strong, torquey turbodiesel, bold but not outlandish styling and a comfy interior scored higher than its rivals can match.

Nissan Frontier Navara 4x4Nissan’s Navara was the best-selling pick-up in Ireland, UK and Europe in 2006. It commanded an incredible 25 per cent of the European market for pick-ups. Navara unseated pickup segment leader Isuzu Dmax in 2006 and claimed 41.2% percent of the market relegating DMax to a distant second. Mitsubishi Triton's recent introduction may change the market dynamics even further. These figures do not include the impact Mark and Mark Motors had in the market by exporting Vigoes and Triton to the Emerald Isle.

In addition to the stunning Irish performance, the Navara is the best-selling pick up in markets such as Spain, France, Holland, Austria, Belgium, Poland, and Sweden.

Since its launch in June 2005 more than 60,000 European customers have found in Navara the perfect tool to work hard and play hard. By offering SUV levels of comfort, space and on-road dynamic performance for civilised weekend motoring, combined with super-tough characteristics for a hard-working Monday-Friday lifestyle, the Navara has given customers the option of owning a pick up which doesn’t compromise their daily lives.

The combination of SUV qualities and pick up utility offered by the Navara has raised the stakes in this competitive segment. It is therefore no surprise that orders have begun poring in from the UK and the Southern African region and the Caribbean region is not far behind. From early signs, Navara promises to be another Vigo. Vigo had caused similar customer interest worldwide as Navara has now.

2011 Nissan Murano Reviews

The 2011 Nissan Murano will incorporate the same redesign approach that was introduced upon the arrival of the 2009 model. There are also choices for an all-wheel drive and front-wheel drive system. This vehicle is equipped with a CVT or continuously variable transmission, thus allowing you to increase power delivery for precise matching of engine speed. There are more engine features incorporated to deliver smoother ride such as antiskid and traction systems, four-wheel disc brakes, and an antilock braking system.

The 2011 Nissan Murano ranks 7 out of 24 Affordable Midsize SUVs. The 2011 Nissan Murano is an affordable midsize SUV that is actually fun to drive. With good power, fuel economy and nimble handling, reviewers have no trouble recommending the Murano.

"Nissan Murano is a likable SUV that offers secure handling, a comfortable interior, versatile cargo utility, and a strong, refined powertrain,” says Consumer Guide. “Midsize SUV shoppers should add it to their test-drive list."

Just know that if you want a basic, fun family hauler, the base "Nissan Murano" is a good value.

For 2011, the "2011 Nissan Murano" gets some styling changes and a new SV trim. The Nissan Murano is available in the base S, SV, SL and top-of-the-line LE.

Buyers can now choose between a total of eight variants on the Murano theme, including the new SV FWD and SV AWD trims. The Japanese automaker has thrown in 20-inch wheels, a dual-panel moonroof and a bevy of exterior color choices as optional goodies, too. Look for the 2011 Nissan Murano to land on dealer lots by October.

2011 Nissan Versa Reviews

The 2011 Nissan Versa 1.8 S and the 1.8 SL models are available in sedan and hatchback forms. ABS is standard on the 1.8 S. Traction control and Nissan’s Vehicle Dynamic Control are standard on 1.8 SL models, and optional on 1.8 S models. However, they remain unavailable in both 1.6 models.
Available as either a sedan or hatchback, the Nissan Versa boasts a great deal of cargo space – 13.8 cubic feet for the sedan and 16.9 cubic feet for the hatchback.
Leather upholstery is unavailable on all Versa models.
With its history of impressive car safety features, sharp interior features and decent engine specs, the Versa is a contender in the subcompact and economy car market. The MSRP on the "2011 Nissan Versa" ranges from $9,900 to $17,650.
Changes are light for the 2011 Nissan Versa: antilock brakes are now included with the upgraded 1.6 sedan trim, while the 1.8 S sedan gains a six-disc CD changer.
Cars at a certain bargain-basement price point used to be called penalty boxes. Like many subcompact cars, the Nissan Versa is available in four-door sedan and hatchback body styles and its most basic models offer little in the way of convenience features.
The "2011 Nissan Versa" is a subcompact car available in sedan and hatchback styles. The 1.8 SL adds 15-inch alloy wheels, a height-adjustable driver seat, upgraded cloth upholstery, front and rear center armrests, 60/40 split rear seatbacks (sedan) and a six-speaker stereo. The sedan's Convenience package adds keyless ignition/entry, Bluetooth and a leather-wrapped steering wheel with audio controls. The 2011 Nissan Versa is available with a choice of two four-cylinder engines. A five-speed manual transmission is standard, while a four-speed automatic is optional. EPA-estimated fuel economy with the manual is 26 mpg city/34 mpg highway and 29 mpg combined. A six-speed manual transmission is standard on the 1.8 S trim. The four-speed automatic is optional on the 1.8 S trim and standard on the 1.8 SL sedan, while the 1.8 SL hatchback gets a continuously variable automatic transmission (CVT).
Every "Nissan Versa" comes standard with front side airbags and side curtain airbags. Antilock brakes are optional on the base car and standard on all other trim levels. In government crash tests, the Versa scored four out of five stars for all occupants in both front- and side-impact tests.
The 2011 Nissan Versa has a remarkably roomy cabin. Looks-wise, the car's interior is quite bland, but overall interior quality is high. The car's overstuffed front seats are comfortable during hour-long commutes, but support fades on longer drives.
The 2011 Nissan Versa ranks 26 out of 32 Affordable Small Cars. Just know that going from the base model to the next model up brings the Versa's price to just over $11,000. Also, if you're looking for a handy hatchback to zip around town in, the Versa's hatchback body style isn't available on the base model. While the Versa hatchback is a reviewer favorite, it starts at over $13,000.
While that means that the base hatch comes with more standard features than the base sedan, it also takes a significant chunk out of the Versa's value equation.
The Nissan Versa is largely unchanged for 2011. Antilock brakes are now standard on the Versa 1.6 sedan, but not the 1.6 BASE sedan. The Versa comes as a sedan or hatchback.

2012 Nissan Sport Cars GT-R EGOIST Created by Takumi

Nissan announced the car would get an exclusive luxury package called EGOIST, which tacks on almost the cost of another GT-R to the price tag. Each customer can choose a combination of interior colors among 20 choices. EGOIST is the first and only Nissan GT-R in the world exclusively created by Takumi, or “master with greatest skills”. In addition, the Bose® sound system is exclusively tuned according to the driving position of each driver to meet every customer’s needs. This is the ultimate expression of the Nissan GT-R.
Egoist takes a dry carbon rear spoiler (also used in the SpecV). A stable aerodynamic performance even when driving with more than 300 kilometers per hour, rear spoiler gives an intense look in the back with black carbon paint.

Peak torque, estimated at 452 lb.-ft., will be reached from 3200 to 5200 rpm. This means the car will be quicker than the current GT-R. The 2012 Nissan Sport Cars GT-R EGOIST will also have a more compliant suspension (via revised spring rates and slightly different geometry at the rear), while still being able to keep up with cars on the track. The interior will also have numerous key “Egoist” touches.
The car will be delivered to customers in December. The price of the GT-R Egoist is set at about 14,000,000 yen or $150,000, roughly $50,000 more than a stock GT-R and about $10,000 less than a Spec V. The company plans to only sell about 10 cars per month. Nissan U.S.A. has offered no comment about the Egoist and maintains that the only GT-R the company will be selling in the U.S in 2011 is the stock one, so don’t expect the Egoist or Spec V to come this way anytime soon.
